SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT
Employment Network Team of New Jersey prepares individuals with disabilities for employment through a variety of services from the initial employer contact through on-going follow along service support. Highlights of supported employment include:
Individual approach to meeting the needs of both the individual and the employer.
Focus on individual interests and strengths.
Focus on making good job matches.
Job placement followed by real-world training and support services, rather than the traditional train-and-place approach.
Intensive one-one-one job coaching on the skills needed to perform specific job tasks very well.
Ongoing job coaching and supports for the life of the job, if necessary.
Following the intake session, we incorporate a thorough development plan which includes, Pre-Employment Planning, Job Readiness and Development, Job Placement Services, Intensive Job Coaching, and Long Term Follow Along Services.
